Rohr Unveils Super Eagles List For Poland, Serbia Friendlies

Recalls Joel Obi



Super Eagles’ Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr has unveiled a 28-man squad for pre-FIFA World Cup friendly matches this month against Poland and Serbia.

Torino midfielder Joel Obi return to the Super Eagles after a long absence.

The 26-year old whose career has be plagued by injuries won the last of his 12 senior caps in November 2014.

Obi has scored four Serie A goals in 15 appearances this season for the Italian football club based in Turin, Piedmont.

Al Ahly striker Junior Ajayi and Lokomotiv Plovdiv new recruit Stephen Eze are called up, while Akwa United Gabriel Okechukwu is handed a first time invite.

The Eagles face Poland in Wroclaw on March 23 before travelling to London to clash against Serbia four days later.
